  • Dr. Jordan Hughes, O.D.

    Dr. Hughes received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming in Human Physiology. He then completed his Master’s degree in Biomedical Science at the Colorado State University. He received his doctorate from the Southern California College of Optometry. Professional memberships include the American Optometric Association (AOA) as well as the Colorado Optometic Association (COA). Dr. Hughes enjoys taking care of his patients, with a special interest in educating his patients about their ocular health and vision. When not seeing patients, Dr. Hughes spends his free time with his family, as well as spending time outside fly fishing or snowboarding.

  • Dr. Holly Hughes, O.D.

    Dr. Hughes received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine. She then completed her Doctorate of Optometry at the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. She is member of both the American Optometric Association and the Colorado Optometric Association. Dr. Hughes enjoys all aspects of optometry and has a special interest in pediatrics, contact lenses and ocular disease. When she is not practicing optometry, Dr. Hughes enjoys running, snowboarding and spending time with her husband and dog.

  • Dr. Donald Keller, M.D.

    Dr. Keller founded Boulder Eye Surgeons, and began practicing in Boulder in 1995. He completed his undergraduate training at Creighton University with a degree in Chemistry. He went on to medical school at the University of Nebraska, where he graduated with research honors, and was elected into the medical honors fraternity, Alpha Omega Alpha. Following medical school, Dr. Keller completed an internal medicine internship at Creighton University. He completed his formal training with a three year Ophthalmology residency at the University of Nebraska, where he served as chief resident during his third year. Now a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, Dr. Keller has trained locally and internationally in the areas of cataract and refractive surgery. Dr. Keller has been performing Lasik since 1997, now offering FDA approved Customvue lasik with iris registration using the VisX Star S4 laser. In addition to Lasik, Dr. Keller was the first surgeon in the Denver/Boulder area performing the FDA approved Crystalens cataract procedure and the first in the Boulder area to offer endocyclophotocoagulation (ECP), a laser treatment for glaucoma.

    Jan has been with Third Avenue Eyecare since 1993. She can assist you with all of your eyecare needs. Her cheerful personality will ensure a pleasant experience at the office. Outside of work, Jan enjoys spending time with her family at their sporting events as well as reading and hiking.

    Optometric Technician

    Kelly joined the Third Avenue Eyecare staff after graduating from the University of Northern Colorado in 2016. As an optometric tech she can assist you with all of your patient care needs. She is sure to provide a pleasant experience at your next visit. Kelly is a Colorado native and grew up in the area. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and her two dogs, Elsa and Maple.

  • Karly Anderson, ABOC

    Optician

    Karly has been in the eye care field for thirteen years and is excited to start her 10th year with Third Avenue Eyecare. She is an American Board of Opticianry certified optician and loves being part of the process of helping patients improve their vision. For her, it’s very rewarding improving the daily quality of patients lives through great vision. In her spare time she enjoys camping, golfing, playing guitar and spending time with her family.

    Optician

    Third Avenue Optical was blessed when Mindy joined the team in 2017. Mindy is eager to answer your optical questions, help with frame selection and help you choose the lenses that are right for you. Mindy was born and raised in Iowa and moved to Colorado in 2012 (Go Hawks!) When not at work Mindy enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and her pups.
